  This location has come a long way. From a terrible service with OK food place to a great service and better food place. I like their desert also, but I recommendto avoid all fish items from the menu.

  Excellent service. Keith helped me through a quick lunch & was exactly what you want a bartender to be. Joked w/ his regulars, always polite, helpful, very friendly. Ordered the breakfast burger med-rare w/ slaw; quality pickles, burger came med-well & slaw was interesting... but burger flavor was excellent & ingredients were just right. I'd come here to watch the game, grab a drink/beer w/ friends (good beer selection) or a casual date.

  I visit John Brewers Tavern Everytime I visit the Boston area. The wings are amazing, really, really good! Great beer selection. Staff is always friendly.

  Great service. Good beer selection. I tried their signature meatloaf, based on server suggestion. Gravy-based covered in sautéed mushrooms. I hate salty food and this was a nice dish. Had double grilled veggies instead of the mash potatoes. Filling, but not heavy, overall satisfying, especially on a cool afternoon. Would recommend, but wouldn't purposely seek it out again.
